Every amplifier installation has power wires installed down the opposite side of the vehicle than the RCA Signal wires. This is done to prevent unwanted noise from entering the RCA cables from the current passing through the power wire. Have you ever had noise in your system and were told that you need better set of RCAs? Well the truth is your system was installed poorly. Even the cheapest twisted pair RCA Cable should be able to be run almost noise free in any vehicle, if installed properly.
We solder all vehicle connections and use 3M’s 33+ tape (the best electrical tape on the market) to insure the best connection on T-type connections; on butt connections we use heat shrink.
